A visual artist based in New York and Japan. He founded BAKS, a creative team specializing in B2B brand development through creative direction, visual direction, and brand strategy. Having spent his early childhood in California, he later returned to Japan and studied tea ceremony under the Urasenke school in Kyoto. Influenced by the aesthetics and philosophy of tea, he enrolled at Parsons School of Design in New York. After graduating, he worked on visual production for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Versace. Drawing from his background in tea ceremony, family heritage, and early influences, he also leads branding projects that emphasize Japanese nature and culture. Currently, while relocating his base in Japan to regional areas, he continues to expand his artistic practice both domestically and internationally.
